The word "crap" is a prominent running gag of the Homestar Runner universe. The discussion itself is often used as a substitute for vulgarity, and it often describes things that Strong Bad and other characters find stupid or offensive. In improver, Strong Bad has become infamous for the phrase "Holy crap!", an exclamation he oftentimes used early in his evolution, just not then much today. In fact, Strong Bad currently voices his displeasure openly whenever he receives an email signed with the discussion "crap".
