PREREQUISITES
If you want to apply for the BA programme in Graphic Design, you must meet the following requirements:
- have the secondary school-leaving certificate (matriculation certificate);
- present a portfolio of works confirming your basic artistic competency;
- receive a positive opinion of the qualifying committee based on the review of the submitted portfolio of works.
Commencement of studies is conditional to collecting a defined number of candidates

The Bachelor's degree programme in the field of Graphic Design has been specially tailored to account for the widest possible variety of means of expression used in graphic design and to meet the demand for graphic works among the contemporary recipients. The programme defines professional goals and prepares students for such professions as: graphic designer, DTP computer graphic designer, multimedia computer graphic designer, illustrator, animator, and photographer.
Students can choose subjects within two specialties:
- artistic graphics;
- interdisciplinary graphics.
The study programme in the field of Graphic Design takes into account specific aspects of the use of art and design that meet the needs of the labour market. At the same time, the course goals and the entire programme put a heavy emphasis on artistic values. Freedom of expression and individual approach to each student are the key factors making Graphic Design at Vistula University an extremely creative and inspiring field.

INTERNSHIPS
The Bachelor's degree programme in the field of Graphic Design comprises three-months' internships and two-weeks' outdoor drawing and painting workshops.
SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
As much as 70% of classes in the field of Graphic Design are practical. We focus on equipping our students with useful, practical skills to allow them to make conscious choices of artistic techniques in their future jobs.

The field of Graphic Design (Bachelor's degree programme) offers two specialties:
- artistic graphics;
- interdisciplinary graphics.
SPECIALTY: ARTISTIC GRAPHICS
This specialty will help you become an independent graphic artist. It will provide you with a solid foundation in terms of drawing, painting and illustration. You will master at least 10 graphic techniques: linocut, coloured linocut, dry point, mezzotint, copperplate, etching, aquatint, lithography, serigraphy and algraphy. You will learn to use selected media and tools to achieve a specific goal. You will be ready to start your own creative work.SPECIALTY: INTERDISCIPLINARY GRAPHICS
This specialty will allow you to develop computer graphic designer's skills. You will learn Adobe CC programmes: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Premiere Pro, After Effect, Animate Pro. You will find out how to work in various techniques, make animated films or how to create a project combining image and text. You will get familiar with digital photo and film processing techniques. -
Marcin Bielski, PhD
PhD in the Faculty of Painting, Warsaw Academy of Art. Painter, photographer, applied graphic designer. He cooperates with galleries, publishing houses and advertising agencies as a photographer and designer.
Jolanta Gołembiowska-Johnsson, PhD
She has a diploma at the Graphics faculty of ASP Warsaw (1989); she works in the field of painting, graphics, drawing; she shows her works at individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad, she took part in numerous group exhibitions, she cooperates with Polish and foreign publishers in the field of cover design and book layout, publishing advertising and other printed and digital publications; she collaborated with the correspondent of Finnish public television YLE in the field of filming and editing video image.
Robert Radziejewski, MA
Master of Art since 1997. University studies in the Faculty of Graphics of the European Academy of Arts in the years 1992-1997 (among others, with Prof. Julian Pałka, Franciszek Starowieyski, Jerzy Grabowski) completed with a diploma with an honourable mention in the workshop of Prof. Julian Pałka. Since 1997, participant in exhibitions of photography, drawing and painting. Till 1999, graphic designer in the Helvetica and Marquard Media Publishing House. Since 1999, artistic director in Marquard Media Publishing House. In 2002, he received an honourable mention for the cover of the year in the Grand Front Competition organized by the Chamber of Press Publishers. Since 2008, in the jury of the prestigious Grand Front Competition. In the years 2002-2007, lecturer in his own educational programme for graphic design for publishing purposes (practical aspects of the work of the graphic designer, graphic design studio director and artistic director, application of Desctop Publishing, photo-edition and copyright law) in the Faculty of Graphic Design EAS. Since 2015, lecturer at the Academy of Finance and Business Vistula in the field of graphic design (graphic design, graphic design for the publishing industry, drawing and painting as well as own subject 'Principles of Artwork'). Since 2016, assistant to Professor Rosław Szaybo, co-creating a proprietory formula of lectures given together. Since 2018, in chargé of the workshop in creative graphic and photographic design as well as workshop in occasional and artistic poster as well as workshop in brand creation.
